1. Products Details

2205 is a duplex (austenitic-ferritic) stainless steel containing about 40 - 50% ferrite in the annealed condition. 2205 has been a practical solution to chloride stress corrosion cracking problems experienced with 304/304L or 316/316L stainless. The high chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen contents provide corrosion resistance superior to 316/316L and 317L stainless in most environments.
2205 is not suggested for operating temperatures up to 600°F.

The design strength of 2205 is significantly higher than 316/316L, often permitting lighter wall construction.
2205 has good notch impact toughness down to temperatures below - 40°F. 2205 is welded with E2209 or ER2209 fillers.

4. Production Flow about stainless steel sheet

A. Raw materials are sending to hot rolling units for rolling into different sizes
B. Hot rolled material is annealing in cold; rolled annealing furnace and pickling in acid.
C .All mill rolls are grinded on precision grinding machine with proper chamfering after first shiftoperation.
D .All sheets are pickled in different tanks and dried on brush roll machine before dispatched.
E. These sheets are again annealing and are sent to straighten machine for straightening.
F. Inspections are done at various stages. Keep proper control overall internal process via rolling,annealin and pickling by our experienced staff.

5. Packaging of stainless steel sheet

We wrap the stainless steel products with anti-rust paper and steel rings to prevent damage. Identification labels are tagged accordingto standard specification or customer's instructions. Special packing is available as per customer's requirement.
