Marine Chocks

The periphery of the marine chock is made into lip shape to protect the mooring line from being cut by the bulwark and also for the bulwark not being worn by the mooring cable, to facilitate the smooth pass of the end eye ring of the tether. Steel chock is usually in large and medium-sized ships. Because mooring forces are smaller, the small ships commonly use welding-type marine chocks. Marine chocks are usually installed in the main deck of the bulwark.

Marine chocks and other mooring equipment are currently mostly used steel welded structures

or the cast component are welded and fixed, it should be consistent weld seam quality requirements. As a casting production mooring equipment, the casting surface should be trimmed, a slit-type casting junction box must be flattened to the surface, casting surface defects should not have sharp corners, trachoma, cracks, and so on.
